Rolex 24 @ Daytona Overall (1-2 Prototype) and GTLM class winners 1-2-3-4 powered by Braille Lithium
Action Express sets a new distance record with the Mustang Sampling Cadillac Dallara DPi machine taking the overall win at this years Rolext 24 at Daytona followed by the Whelen Engineering sister car finishing second. This 1-2 finish adds to the overall win last year by Cadillac with Wayne Taylor Racing. The Cadillac Dallara is powered by an 8 pound Braille MicroLite B128L lithium battery.
The Chip Ganassi Ford GTs dominated the GTLM class with a 1-2 finish over the 3-4 finishing C7-R machines of Corvette Racing. Both the Ford GT & Corvettes are powered by a 8.8 pound Braille MicroLite ML30C Carbon lithium battery. This marks the 8th season of Corvette Racing powered by Braille lithium and 4th season with Ganassi Racing. (Ford Ecoboost powered DPs for 2 years and now 2 years in the Ford GTs)
The 2018 season of the IMSA WeatherTech series looks to be one of the most competitive in recent memory in all three classes with the next racing being the 12 Hours of Sebring in mid-March! See you there!
